Traffic in fog. Fog is a type of cloud that forms near the ground when the air is cooled enough for water to condense out of it. Fog can make driving conditions extremely hazardous because it reduces visibility. Especially bright lights, called fog lights, should be used by motor vehicles in foggy conditions.
