Description
Graphene sheet, computer artwork. Graphene is a single layer of graphite. It is composed of hexagonally arranged carbon atoms (spheres). Graphene is very strong and flexible. It transports electrons highly efficiently and may one day replace silicon in computer chips and other technology applications. Graphene was discovered by Andre Geim in 2004. By further bending, this sheet can be converted into a nanotube.
