From left: US industrialist Henry Ford (1863-1947), US inventor Thomas Alva Edison (1847-1931), US President Warren Gamaliel Harding (1865-1923), and US industrialist Harvey Samuel Firestone (1868-1938). Ford, Edison and Firestone, the leaders of US industry, went on camping trips and styled themselves 'The Vagabonds'. The trips showcased new technology and were reported by the media.
