Kickapoo Indian Medicine Company. 19th-century travelling salesman stall advertising an oil salve product (Indian Sagwa). The banner claims that the salve will kill intestinal worms and cure coughs. Photographed in 1892 by Pierre A. Gentieu (1842-1930), this image is part of the Gentieu collection of images relating to the Brandywine Valley area of Pennsylvania, USA.
