Description
Scaly-feathered finch (Sporopipes squamifrons). This bird has the short and strong bill of a finch, that is mainly used to crack open seeds. It is common throughout the woodlands and savannah of southern Africa. Photographed in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park of Botswana and South Africa.
