Description
Martian landslides. False-colour satellite image of landslides in Mars' north pole. Clouds of dust and fine material are still visible after the landslide from the cliff at left. The top of the cliff is covered in carbon dioxide frost (white). Image obtained by the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera on NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) on 19th February 2008.
