Description
Close-up of a pair of large rose sawfly larvae (Are pagana) feeding on a rose leaf in a garden habitat. The larvae of this is common species is difficult to tell apart from Arge ocherous being distinguishable by the pale fine hairs on the head of the larva. This species is found all across the UK but more commonly found in the south of England. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in June.
