Description
Feather duster worm (Protula magnifica). This polychaete worm lives in a tube attached to coral or rock, and extends long radioles (pink) into the water to trap passing food particles. At the slightest hint of danger these are withdrawn rapidly into the tube. Photographed in the Egyptian Red Sea.
