Description
Cumulonimbus clouds. View of cumulonimbus clouds from an aircraft window. Cumulonimbus are large clouds which form vertically, and frequently have towers (as in the foreground cloud) or anvil heads (background, centre). The clouds typically contain very strong air currents, and are often responsible for storms and heavy rain, hail and snow.
