Crossing tsingy limestone. Entomologists carefully traversing extremely sharp tsingy limestone in order to reach a site where insects will be captured for research. This rock, also known as karst, was eroded into spiky pinnacles, channels and ridges by water flows. Photographed in the Ankarana reserve, Madagascar.
