Description
Illustration of a manned Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV) approaching the International Space Station (ISS) at an altitude of 400 kilometres. Various CEV designs have been produced, including the Orion spacecraft for NASA's Space Launch System (SLS). They typically carry a crew of 2 to 6 astronauts. This CEV is 10 meters long with a maximum diameter of 6 meters, while the solar voltaic panels have a maximum spread of a little over 18 meters. The ISS is about 110 meters by 73 meters.
