Description
Bolted belay. Bolts drilled into rock are used as secure anchor points (belays) for attachment of ropes in rock climbing. The ropes are attached to the bolts using carabiners, and the ropes are tied to the carabiners using particular knots such as the clove hitch (left) and figure-of-eight (right).
