MODEL RELEASED. Dental surgery. Image 3 of 4. Dentist stitching the gum and palate of a 14-year-old girl. A premolar tooth (located between the molar and canine teeth) and a piece of palate (mouth roof) bone were removed to allow an undescended tooth to come through.
