Description
Savanna baboon (Papio cynocephalus) yawning. This primate lives in large social groups (troops) in the savannah and forest edges of central Africa. Most of its day is spent foraging for grasses, flowers and fruits as well as insects and bird's eggs. It may even hunt young antelope. When fully grown, an adult male may reach a length of around 75 centimetres. Photographed in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
