Description
Liquid petroleum gas tank failure testing. Explosion of boiling liquid and vapour, known as a BLEVE (boiling liquid expanding vapour explosion). A BLEVE occurs following the rupture of a vessel containing a pressurized liquid above its boiling point. This explosion is part of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) tank failure testing. This test was carried out by the UK's Health and Safety Laboratory.
