Zinc Sulphate Heptahydrate (ZnSO4 7H2O) Molar mass 287.53 g/mol. Also known as White vitriol, Goslarite. The heptahydrate is the primary form used commercially as a coagulant in the production of rayon. It is also a precursor to the pigment lithopone. Zinc sulfate is an inorganic compound and dietary supplement used to treat zinc deficiency.
