Description
Zanzibar whip coral shrimp (Dasycaris zanzibarica). This shrimp is colour-matched to its host sea whip, an example of camouflage. A sea whip is a gorgonian, a coral-like organism which uses its tentacles to obtain food from the water. Photographed in Lembeh Strait, off Sulawesi, Indonesia.
