Description
William Du Bois Duddell (1872-1917), British electrical engineer and instrument maker. His inventions included a moving coil oscillograph, a thermo-ammeter and a thermo-galvanometer. Duddell was elected Fellow of the Royal Society in 1907, and was awarded its Hughes Medal in 1912. Duddell was President of the Institution of Electrical Engineers in 1912 and 1913.
