Description
Utahraptors hunting, artwork. Utahraptor ostrommaysorum are dromaeosaurs and are thought to have been an extremely lethal group of dinosaurs because of the 'killer claws' on their feet. Utahraptor was the tallest of the dromaeosaurs which include Velociraptor and Dromaeosaurid. Utahraptors measured 5-7 metres in length and weighed about 1 tonne. They inhabited the present day state of Utah in the United States of America and lived 120 million years ago (early Cretaceous period).
