This site was buried in 1992 by the US Department of Energy, It is located near Grants, New Mexico, USA. It is one of about 20 uranium mill tailings sites in the USA that were remediated as part of the Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action project (UMTRA). Image published in 2014.
