Description
Sun rays. Rays of sunlight breaking through a bank of low-level cumiliform clouds. The rays are sometimes, but incorrectly, called crepuscular rays. True crepuscular rays are only seen when the Sun is below the observer's horizon. The radiating pattern of light is an effect of perspective - the rays are in fact parallel.
