Most of the mass of the solar system is found in the Sun. The eight planets are shown in order of their distance from the Sun (from front to back, with the positions of Jupiter and Saturn reversed): Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. The smaller four planets are rocky planets of the inner solar system. The larger four planets are gas giant planets of the outer solar system. Earth's Moon is also shown.
