Description
Southern armyworm (Spodoptera eridania) eggs. The eggs take four to six days to hatch. They start off a greenish colour, and turn brown as they age. Once hatched the larvae are a destructive pest of a wide range of agricultural crops. The southern armyworm is found in the Southern United States, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.
