Description
Shark teeth. Teeth from the upper and lower jaws of a river shark (Glyphis sp.) showing the variation in form. The upper teeth are serrated, triangular and designed for cutting or shearing flesh. Whereas the thinner lower teeth are primarily for holding the prey, which is usually small fish.
