Saturn from Tethys. Illustration showing the view from an ice canyon on the surface of Tethys, the fifth largest of Saturn's moons. Saturn is on the horizon at upper centre. Tethys is thought to be made mostly of water ice. Tethys is 1062 kilometres in diameter. It orbits at a distance of around 235,000 kilometres above Saturn's outer atmosphere.
