Rocket designerr. Rocket designer Paul Breed with his amateur-built Burning Splinter 90 (background). His father's company (also Paul Breed), Unreasonable Rocket, builds low-cost rockets which compete for the X-Prize Foundation's Lunar Lander Challenge. The winner of the Lunar Lander Challenge must be able to take off with a payload, reach an altitude of 50 metres, hover for 90 seconds before landing on a target 100 metres away. The flight must be repeated in reverse within a two and a half hours. The winner of this challenge will receive $500,000. Photographed in 2007 in New Mexico, USA.
