Description
Plumbaceous rail (Pardirallus sanguinolentus). This ground-dwelling bird is found in swamps in many part of South America. Most rails are omnivorous, foraging and feeding on plants and invertebrates. Photographed in September, in Patagonia, a region of southern South America.
