Description
pH meter and temperature sensor. The device at right is a datalogger, a machine that logs the data produced by a sensor (lower left). In this case it is receiving input from two sensors, a pH meter and a temperature sensor. The pH reading is 8.77 (an alkaline solution) and the temperature is 25.0 degrees Celsius. A datalogger allows readings to be taken automatically over a period of time, and then downloaded for further analysis.
