From this vantage point it is possible to see the metropolitan area laid out along a regular grid of city blocks and streets. The island of Manhattan can be seen running horizontal through the middle of the image, from left to centre, with Central Park just left of centre. Photographed from the International Space Station (ISS) by an Expedition 35 crew member, on 23rd March 2013.
