Description
Two adult male African lions (Panthera Leo) competing over a Springbok (Antidorcas marsupialis) carcass which a lioness had captured at the Ozonjuitji M'bari waterhole in Etosha national park, Namibia, southern Africa. Lions kill their prey by breaking its neck or suffocating it by clamping their jaws around its throat. Male lions often dispossess females of their kill.
