Description
Lymphoma brain tumour. Light micrograph of a section through brain tissue affected by a malignant lymphoma, a cancer of lymphatic tissue. Lymphatic tissue is part of the immune system. Tumours growing in the brain put pressure on surrounding brain tissue, which can disturb the brain's function. Typical symptoms include seizures, headaches and disturbances to speech and the senses. The prognosis for brain tumours is poor.
