Description
ISS astronauts sharing a meal in the Zvezda module of the International Space Station (ISS). Floating at top is Scott Horowitz, commander of the Space Shuttle Discovery's mission STS-105 to rotate the Expedition 2 (E2) and 3 (E3) ISS crews. From left: Susan Helms (E2), Frank Culbertson (E3 commander), cosmonaut Yury Usachev (E2 commander), James Voss (E2) and cosmonaut Vladimir Dezhurov (E3). The E2 crew manned the ISS from 8 March to 22 August 2001. Photographed on 15 August 2001. The ISS is a joint effort between the space agencies of the USA, Europe, Russia, Canada, Japan and Brazil. It orbits at an altitude of 350 kilometres and is scheduled for completion in 2004.
