Description
Irving Hochstadter (1887-1988), US chemical engineer. Hochstadter founded Hochstadter Laboratories in New York, USA, in 1910. He led the company as its President and technical director until it was taken over in 1943. The company carried out general chemical analyses and research, including consultations in chemical engineering. Hochstadter was a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemists (FAIC). He also represented New York in the National Society of Professional Engineers. He was also President of the Stillman and Van Siclen chemical company.
