Holocaust memorial. This memorial is by the Yugoslav sculptor Nandor Glid (1924-1997). The original was erected as part of the International Monument at the Dachau concentration camp, Germany, and is titled: Memorial to the Victims of the Concentration and Extermination Camps. These camps were where many millions of Jews and others persecuted by Nazi Germany in World War II were killed. The memorial was dedicated in 1968. A copy is located at the Yad Vashem memorial in Tel Aviv, Israel.
