Description
Copper mine deposit. Seam of copper ore on the walls of a copper mine. The orange stain on the wall is due to deposits of copper minerals. The wet sheen on the walls is due to water seeping through the rock bringing dissolved minerals with it. These minerals are deposited on the walls as the water comes into contact with the air, reversing the process of solvation.
