Description
Conjunction of Venus and Jupiter. Venus is the brightest object in the sky, with Jupiter just to its left. Conjunctions occur as the planets orbit the Sun in roughly the same plane, and at different speeds, so they occasionally appear to be close to each other in the sky. Photographed on 12th March 2012.
