Description
Bust of Sir Issac Newton (1642-1727), English mathematician and physicist. Newton who created the binomial theorem and the 'Method of Fluxions', now known as the Calculus. In 1687 he published what is arguably the most influential science book ever written: Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica". In this, Newton formulated the three fundamental laws of motion and estabilished, using his Calculus, the theory of universal gravitation.
