African elephant (Loxodonta africana). Elephants are herbivores and are the world's largest and heaviest land animals. Adult females and their young live in large social groups, whereas males lead largely solitary lives. Photographed amongst Albida trees on the Zambezi floodplain in Mana Pools, Zimbabwe.
