Description
International Space Station (ISS), February 2010, taken from the Space Shuttle Endeavour shortly after undocking at the end of its mission to the ISS. This was mission STS-130 (8th February to 21st February 2010), which delivered the Tranquillity and Cupola modules (seen at top centre) to the ISS. Tranquillity will be used for storage, exercise and robotics. It contains advanced life support systems for recycling water and controlling the atmosphere. Cupola is an observatory module, with 7 windows, that is attached to Tranquillity. Photographed on 19th February 2010.
