Utahraptor dinosaur, artwork. Utahraptor ostrommaysorum are dromaeosaurs, a group thought to have been an extremely lethal due to the large curved claws on their feet. Utahraptor was the tallest of the dromaeosaurs, measuring 5 to 7 metres in length and weighing about 1 tonne. Utahraptors lived in what is now Utah, USA, in the Early Cretaceous Period (about 120 million years ago).
