Circular Wave Reflection #2 metal print by Russell Kightley. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Circular wave reflection. Illustration showing circular waves travelling away from a point source (centre) and reflecting off a flat surface (upper left). The reflected waves travel at the same angle, but in the opposite direction, to the incident waves. Where waves overlap, interference occurs. Interfering waves may either cancel each other out, or create an amplified wave.
