Description
Illustration of the planet Uranus and its five principle satellites. From the centre outwards they are Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania and Oberon. The moons are shown with their correct approximate sizes relative to each other but not compared to Uranus. The orbits are also correctly to scale compared to Uranus. As of 2015, Uranus has at least 22 other, although much smaller, satellites. Even the largest of these, Puck or Sycorax (at around 165 km across each) are far smaller than the smallest large moon, Miranda, at 472 km across.
