This information is stored as hypertext documents: text documents which have other data (such as pictures and links to other host sites) embedded in them. The hypertext is read using a browser program to automatically connect to other host computers. This woman is looking at the BBC online site, the web page of the British broadcasting corporation. It is regularly updated with news and current affairs stories.
