William James Frodsham (1778-1850), British clockmaker. Frodsham worked for his family's clockmaking business in London. He was elected a fellow of the Royal Society for his work. His son, Charles Frodsham, who took over the business, supplied the royal family from 1854, and won second prize for a marine chronometer presented to the Royal Greenwich Observatory, London.
