Side view of a wasp beetle (Clytus arietis) sunning itself on a fence in a garden habitat. The wasp beetle is a member of the Cerambycidae family of longhorn beetles, whilst harmless, the distinctive markings make this beetle a Batesian mimic with the wasp like colouration to deter predators. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in June.
