Description
A researcher from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory taking measurements using a LaCoste- Romberg gravity meter. The data are being gathered as part of LLNL's research into the gravitational model proposed by Newton. Additionally, the LLNL team are looking for evidence of a fifth fundamental force. Gravity readings are taken on the 465-metre tall BREN tower in Nevada, and compared to local ground readings. To date, no evidence of a fifth force has been obtained as gravity readings correlate with Newtonian predictions to one part in 10 million.
