Description
Using a digital mass balance. Twenty-gram weight being weighed on a mass balance. Standard weights can be used to test the accuracy of weighing equipment. Objects to be weighed are placed on the balance pan (metal, circular) and the mass noted from the digital display (bottom). Buttons at lower right allow options such as zeroing the scale before weighing an object (useful when adding mass to a beaker or other container). This mass balance can weigh objects up to 200 grams in mass, to a precision of two decimal places.
