Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Ulisse Aldrovandi (1522-1605), Italian naturalist and physician. Also referred to as Aldrovandus, he studied humanities, law, and medicine and was also interested in philosophy and logic, botany, zoology, and geology. He taught in Bologna. His work 'Antidotarii Bononiensis Epitome' (1574) described the properties and constituents of drugs. His noble parentage and connections to Pope Gregory XIII helped him avoid trouble and helped fund the publishing of his books. 17th century portrait.
