The Globe of Venus (1728), frontispiece. This book was written by Italian philosopher Francesco Bianchini (1662-1729) and published in Rome. It has here been republished in 'Les terres du ciel: voyage astronomique sur les autres mondes' (1884, 'The Lands of Heaven: An Astronomical Journey to the Other Worlds') by French astronomer Camille Flammarion (1842-1925).
