Tamiflu influenza drug. Tamiflu (oseltamivir) box in a paper bag. Tamiflu is an antiviral drug used to treat influenza (flu). It can be taken to prevent infection, or to reduce the symptoms and the duration of the infection. It works by inhibiting the neuraminidase enzyme, which allows the viruses to exit cells in order to infect other cells.
